Central to my work is the tension between what appears natural and what is artificial. By imitating organic forms and manipulating scale, I play with the idea that something appears to belong somewhere when it does not — and vice versa. My work moves between two- and three-dimensionality and is constantly shifting in form: what begins as a sculpture may later reappear in a collage. Through this continuous transformation, I build immersive environments in which the boundary between natural processes and human construction blurs,  inviting the viewer to momentarily step outside everyday reality.
I am inspired by geological processes, cosmic landscapes, and traces of human presence within the landscape: ancient ruins, monuments, follies, mazes, and other man-made structures that have gradually lost their original function and become absorbed by their surroundings. I aim to construct a hybrid world: half culture, half nature.

I studied Fine Art at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam and at the University of Plymouth (UK). My work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and is included in both private and public collections, including Kunstuitleen Rotterdam.
I’m Currently living and working in Heinenoord, the Netherlands.
